First of all , let us know what does the NVSP portal mean. THE NATIONAL VOTER SERVICE PORTAL is launched by Electric Commission of India (ECI) on 25th January 2015 on the occasion of National Voter's Day , in honour of former President Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam.

What Are The Requirements For Voters Id Registration?

1. The following are the basic criteria that make an individual eligible to apply for a Voters ID.
2. An Indian Citizen
3. An eligible voter should be above 18 years of age on the qualifying vote i.e., 1st of January of the year of revision of the electoral roll.
4. Needs to be an ordinary resident of the polling area of the constituency where you want to be enrolled.
5. The applicant shouldn’t be disqualified to be enrolled as an elector.

•  . Checking name in voter list :

1. Search in official website of NVSP Portal. 
2. Search on option SEARCH IN ELECTORAL ROLL .
3.  As soon as next page opens,
4.  choose by searching oepic number or search in detail. 
5. Put the information that is asked.
6. Then again put the verification code.
7.  Click the search button and put your name.

 

• Extending or deducting names from voter list:

1. Go to the official website. 
2. Click on the link "LOGIN/REGISTER"
3. . Enter your username and password for login.
4.  Then click on CORRECTION OF ENTRIES option
5. . You will get a fresh form. Insert or remove name and address according to your need.
6.  Click on the SUBMIT option.

 

• Voter ID Card Download with Photo

1. Go to official website of NVSP Portal. 
2. The services on this portal have been migrated to https://voters.eci.gov.in
3. Click LOGIM/REGISTER. 
4. Choose DOWNLOAD E-EPIC option. Enter it.
5. You will get a one time password (OTP), and click on DOWNLOAD E- EPIC. 
6. Download your Voter ID.

• Correction in VoterID:

1. Go to the official website. NVSP Portal. 
2. Click on LOGIN/REGISTER. 
3. You will be logged in. Choose CORRECTION OF ENTRIES option.
4.  You will get a fresh form. Update your information.
5.  Click on SUBMIT button.

 

●Transportation of NVSP Portal within AC:

1. Go to the official website. NVSP Portal. 
2. In order to login, put your ID and password and click LOGIN. 
3. Next, choose TRANSPORTATION inside AC.
4.  You will get a blank form. Fill your information on the form. 
5. Click SUBMIT button. Transportation is done.

 

●Deletion of VoterID:

1. Go to the website. NVSP Portal. 
2. Log in your account.
3.  Click on DELETION OF ELECTORAL(self//family). 
4. Click on EPIC PROFILE. 
5. Put your details and epic number.
6.  Click on UPDATE DETAILS. 
7. Choose SELF or FAMILY according to your requirement.
8.  Enter your EPIC NO. Click NEXT. 
9. You will get a new form and then put the EPIC NO., which has to be deleted. 
10. Choose any one option as reason:-

                                 i.            SHIFT

                               ii.            EXPIRED

                              iii.            MISSING

                             iv.            REPEAT/DUPLICATE

11. Enter SUBMIT.

• Candidates have to check the State Wise Voter List 2023 PDF Download Link.
• Simply tap on the Electoral Search Button or Voter List button.
• Enter the Required details such as Name of the State and District.
• Now tap on the Submit button and wait for the list to open up.

Citizens can call the Voter Helpline, the number is 1950. Now any citizen from any part of the country can call on the toll-free in English or Hindi with any query or complaint at any time of the day. Callers can enquire on subjects such as elections, voting dates, EPIC, electoral roll, online registration and lodge a complaint by simply dialling into the toll-free no. Not only this, executives also make outbound calls for educating the electors and spreading voter awareness.

SMS <ECI> space <EPIC No> to 1950 (EPIC stands for Electors Photo Identity Card also commonly known as Voter ID card). Example - If your EPIC is 12345678 then sms ECI 12345678 to 1950
